High Tunnel Workshop

Learn how to build a high tunnel for year-round growing that meets city zoning requirements.

Grow Appalachia, Common Earth Gardens, and the Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District have partnered to offer a TWO days workshop on high tunnel construction on May 10th and 11th from 9 am-5 pm!

Learning how to build a high tunnel will significantly cut the cost of owning one, making it more attainable for backyard growers and urban agriculturalists. If you’re considering owning a high tunnel or applying for a grant through the NRCS to aid with ownership, please join us for this workshop!

If you’d like to register, we ask that you commit to attending BOTH days of the workshop. Please come dressed ready to work. Address of workshop will be disclosed to participants after registration. Lunch will be provided.
