Ripple Effects Photo Workshop

The Ripple Effects Photo Contest is open to students from kindergarten through high school. The competition is asking youth to take photographs reflecting how water impacts them—from precipitation in their daily lives to their connection with local waterways.

In support of the contest, Waterfront Park will host a FREE workshop on Monday, May 9th from 6-8 pm. Facilitated by award-winning photographers Aukram Burton, John Nation, Pam Spaulding, Jon Wolek, and Marvin Young, students will learn the basics of how to take better photos, followed by a photo-walk across the Big Four Bridge. The class will meet at the Louisville Community Boathouse.
