Nature Connection Workshop

This event is for folks who love the outdoors and are looking to take their experiences beyond just the activity. I will share some of the basic principles of connecting to nature, being mindful and being present no matter what we're out doing on our future events together. This time will be spent with some "lecture" but a lot of experiential practice of the concepts. I've designed this to enhance your experiences in nature, whether with me, on your own or with other amazing meet-up groups. We'll talk about how the concepts can be applied to everyday life as well. Some of the topics we'll cover:

  • We are nature.

  • Reading the environment when we show up to a natural place.

  • How to tune in to a natural place and align our current state to this place.

  • Sensory awareness meditation.

  • Moving "under the radar" on a trail or in the woods to increase your chances of seeing wildlife.

  • Intentional wander to see how nature is a reflection of us.

  • How to take your skills home and apply them in any environment.

Details:

  • RSVP opens Sunday, September 5, 2021 @7:00 PM.
