Mar 7: The Human Element. In this riveting and visually rich drama blending art and science, we follow renowned environmental photographer James Balog as he explores wildfires, hurricanes, sea level rise, a struggling coal mining community, and our changing air supply. This film has a Kentucky connection: As Balaog ventures deep into Kentucky coal country, he meets unemployed miners finding hope from a new source.
All events start at 6pm ET (5pm CT). For the film screenings, the film will play in the first 90ish minutes of the event (film length varies), there will be a short break, and then the discussion will begin and run until approximately 8:30pm ET (7:30pm ET).
