KYIPL Facing Winter Online Film Series: Chasing Coral

Kentucky Interfaith Power & Light is hosting a free online film series that explores the human impact on Creation. Join the virtual screening and discussion culminating in a communal letter-writing campaign by registering here!

Feb 28: Chasing Coral. Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. Divers, photographers and scientists set out on an ocean adventure to discover why the reefs are disappearing and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. The former coordinator of NOAA’s Coral Reef Watch featured in the film, Dr. Mark Eakin, will be joining!

All events start at 6pm ET (5pm CT). For the film screenings, the film will play in the first 90ish minutes of the event (film length varies), there will be a short break, and then the discussion will begin and run until approximately 8:30pm ET (7:30pm ET).

February 21: Chasing Ice (6pm-8:30pm ET)

March 7: The Human Element (6pm-8:30pm ET)
March 14: Letter-Writing Event (6-7:30pm ET)
