Guest Speaker: Bradley Coomes, Environmental Coordinator, Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District
The Louisville Metro Air Pollution Control District's Lawn Care for Cleaner Air Program has been incentivizing Louisville Metro residents to reduce harmful lawn-related air emissions by offering rebates on cleaner electric and human-powered lawn equipment for 17 years. The Lawn Care for Cleaner Air Professional program offers larger rebates on more powerful equipment for lawn care pros or homeowners with large yards.
Lawn Care for Cleaner Air’s sister program, Grow More Mow Less, seeks to reduce lawn-related air pollution in Louisville Metro by encouraging landowners to switch to low-mow or no-mow landscaping.
