In February 2020, Louisville Metro Council passed the 100% renewable-energy ordinance setting out the goals of 100% clean electricity for Metro operations by 2030, 100% clean energy for Metro operations by 2035, and 100% clean energy community-wide by 2040. How can the city meet these goals?

To learn more, LSC is hosting a discussion with the U.S. Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), the city’s partner in charting a course to meet Louisville's 2030 goal. The Colorado-based NREL specializes in renewable energy and energy-efficiency research and development. Join us as we discuss the challenges and possible paths forward for our community. Featuring Owen Zinaman, NREL's Senior Policy and Market Analyst.
