The Louisville Earth Walk is a non-competitive community event including a live 5k walk, at-home participation and virtual programming.
Location: Cherokee Park for its fourth year.
Join in support of a city-wide vision for neighborhoods with safe and clean water, air, and soil. It is a family-friendly event and celebrates the planet while raising awareness and funds for the organizations in Louisville that work to protect and improve the quality of life for all of us. Virtual components to their program have been incorporated considering the COVID-19 pandemic. At-home participation and a walk course are included to allow participants to social distance. If safety considerations allow, they will offer a live post-walk celebration with musical performances, poetry, inspirational environmental messages, children’s play area, and “information zone” of exhibitors.

o Virtual free form run, dance, meditate, etc.

Proceeds go to 13 environmental nonprofit organizing partners, each will be on site to provide ideas and inspiration to take back home, to the workplace, or community.
