This Is The Ohio looks at the Ohio River in a new and provocative way. The one-hour documentary is light in tone but very serious in presenting the urgent need to care for this most important waterway. It considers what the Ohio has done for us as well as what we have done to it.

From Pittsburgh to Cairo, award winning filmmaker Morgan C. Atkinson traveled all 981 miles of the river. He questions the rivers true identity: "Is it solely a commercial highway essential to the economic wellbeing of the United States? Or is it a natural wonder providing incredible opportunities for recreational users?"
