Maple Tapping Workshop

Maple syrup isn’t just for way up north!

Our workshop leader, Dave Barker, has been tapping trees and making syrup here in Louisville for years. He’ll give a brief overview of the process, and we’ll get to work with him and install the taps.

Come meet us at the UL Garden Commons at 1:00 PM for a quick walking trip around central campus! More details about location can be found here. Dress warmly—and we’ll see you there.

This is part of the spring series of Garden Workshops hosted by the Garden Commons, a shared, collectively-managed space, open to participation any time from students, staff, faculty, and community members. Everyone who comes is welcome to share in the harvest!
