This workshop invites participants to open themselves up to these embodied responses and the wisdom that comes from listening to our bodies.
As advocates and activists, we often lead with our thinking: crafting a political and/or theological analysis, developing a strategic plan, crafting talking points… Our bodies are equally important in sustaining our activism. We feel the passion, joy, hope, anger, pain, sorrow, grief… that fuels our efforts. We experience injustice in our bodies.
This workshop (link to register) invites participants to open themselves up to these embodied responses and the wisdom that comes from listening to our bodies. Our activism and advocacy becomes more authentic, meaningful, and sustainable when we are more attuned to how we are feeling in the journey.
