We’re looking for folks who want to lead others planting trees during our tree plantings!

Citizen Forester Training 101 will give you an introduction to urban forestry with participants learning how to restore and maintain Louisville’s urban forest. You will also learn basic tree anatomy and physiology, environmental stewardship, tree planting skills, and leadership skills to guide other volunteers in proper tree planting. And we will be planting a tree or two!

Training is open to individuals of all abilities, ages 12+ years. All trainees receive an instructional manual, a Citizen Forester t-shirt, and a light lunch. Seating is limited. Register today at this link!
