Queers With Gears

The “Get Outside QWG Initiative” is a goal for 2024 to get riders who are often marginalized in cycling spaces safely and confidently out on bikes. This can be recreationally or as a more consistent form of commuting. Queers With Gears exists as a safe space for the LGBTQIA+ community to feel empowered in their bodies and with each other, to feel seen / heard and look to each other for guidance, leadership, and encouragement, because we believe that when marginalized communities have a space to recharge and let their defenses down, they are able to give back to their entire communities in a positive and motivated way.
