Halida Hatic is the Director of Community Relations & Development for the Center for Interfaith Relations & the current Board Chair of the Green Convene. Previously, Halida worked at the Kentucky Pollution Prevention Center as a Sustainability Coordinator, assisting both public school districts in eastern Kentucky and industrial and manufacturing clients statewide in developing and implementing sustainable energy management programs. Prior to moving to Louisville in 2009, she worked in the Air Programs Branch at the New England Office of the Environmental Protection Agency. In this role, Halida coordinated the regional implementation of EPA’s voluntary programs to reduce emissions from mobile sources. She is a Certified Business Energy Professional and a Certified Consultant of the Barrett Values Centre’s Cultural Transformation Tools. Halida holds a Bachelor of Arts in International and Development Economics from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Arts in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University.
