Please join Metro United Way for a briefing on Louisville Metro’s Department of Public Health & Wellness newly released Health Equity Report which documents 21 health outcomes across our community; identifies the root causes; and details evidence-based practices to combat those inequities. You can view and download the full report at www.HealthEquityReport.com.
Amongst many findings, the report shows that there is a 12.6 year difference in life expectancy for residents in parts of east and west Louisville. This disparity is driven by differences in access to food systems, health and human services, employment and income, education, transportation, early childhood development, environmental quality, and the built environment. At Metro United Way we fight for the education, financial stability and health of every person in the communities we serve.
Please join us for this important discussion about our work and community.
